Field Trip!!

YEAAHH!! FIELDTRIP!!!!
It is one of the happy events every school year for students .

I woke up very early just to arrived in school on time. When I arrived in our school everyone were already ready and waiting for the bus to arrive. When the guide arrived , we were instructed to ride the bus then we started our trip. The guide started with a prayer.He told us stories about our destination.

First, we arrived at MOA. We stayed at science discovery for more than an hour and after that we stayed at the mall.Then, the next destination was the myth of the human bodies . I enjoyed viewing the plasticized bodies of people . I learned many things in this spot. Next, we reached the Kulturang Pinoy. We were welcomed by happy songs and happy entertainers. We enjoyed all of the activities .Then, we stayed at MOA for 4 hours.

Finally, HOME SWEET HOME!!!

Math Fest!!

Numbers , numbers and numbers ! It is the festival of the Numbers !! The Math Fest !!

It was a whole day program and it was held in our gymnasium.Several activities like quiz bee ,math trail and Sudoku was done. Some of my classmates participated in those activities.

A pageant named "Ginoo At Binibining Sipnayan". Sipnayan is the Tagalog word for Mathematics. That was the first time I heard that Tagalog word.

There were one pair of participants per year level. As a third year student, I supported our candidate. One of the  candidates was my classmate.

They showed  their talents and they also answered questions somehow related to Mathematics.

Michael Nangca  who was our representative for Ginoong Sipnayan successfully grabbed the title while Joanna Pagtakhan our representative for Binibining Sipnayan won the 1st runner up.


That was a happy day. And the best day to celebrate the Math Festival.

Superman, He is not my modern day hero,

TEACHERS DAY!!!

YES!! We celebrated a special event for our  beloved teachers.

We had a program for them. To make their day more important series of presentations were made.Flowers were given to each of our teachers.The SSG also made a message on the field.

The program last for more than 4 hours.And it ended lunch time. We were dismissed early.

NCAE !!!! Its DONE

At last ! We took the NCAE !! National Career Assessment Examination!! It must have been taken Wednesday but because of the disturbance of class we were able to take it Friday.

We reviewed for weeks.We prepared very well. It is done to assess the suitable career for us.It also determines their strengths in different career fields.

I woke up early to prepare myself to go to school. When i arrived in our school, almost all of my classmates are already waiting for our teachers.

When the proctors arrived, the test had began.The tests are somewhat easy but some items are confusing.

The ended at 1 pm. We are the 1st room that finished the exam. After that, I went home.

I WANT TO BE A COCONUT TREE

 The coconut nut is a giant nut

         If you eat too much,you'll get very fat         

Now, the coconut nut is a big, big nut

But its delicious nut is not a nut"It's the coco fruit (it's the coco fruit)

If I would be a tree,I still don't have an idea on what tree will fit my attitudes at traits. But obviously, I want to be a Coconut tree. Do you know why? 

Coconut tree because it has many uses . Because I want to be very useful to people on their daily lives.From its parts, you can build a house , broom stick , and you can get a fruit that is really unique.

From its fruit, you can get and eat its white and delicious meat.You can also drink the juice to freshen up.Oil can also be a product of this marvelous tree. And , don't throw the coconut husk because it can be made into more important and useful things.

Ops,And you can see it everywhere because its seeds can be dispersed through the water.So, you there are lots of them in  here.

Hayy..If I can only be a tall,useful, and a strong coconut tree,.....

But for now ... As a human being , I will do my best to protect them my extinction..

INTRAMS!!! RED FERRARI!!!!

INTRAMS!!!!

Yes!!! Its my first to experience a 2 day intramural . Our name was RED FERRARI.

The event started with a program held at the court.And as the program ends, the games had began.

I was a player of basketball. I played as a center for my team.Our first opponent was the Green Chevrolet. I did my best to get points. And at the end, I got 14 points and our team won. YES !!!!!

Then, the games continued. The players rested for a while at a room . We watched other sports like volleyball and badminton.

And that day ended with a smile.

The second day started with a BIG smile and I was also nervous for our next game with the BLUE PORSCHE, the seniors. They were good and strong in playing basketball.But u still did my best to win.

We won against them . YES!!! We were crowned as the CHAMP for the basketball.And I was included in MYTHICAL FIVE of our school. A BIG YES!!!! That was a very big achievement for me..

Whenever I hear this song I realizes that we must be united as one.And we must help each other at all times of suffering and pain.'We are the ones who makes a brighter day so lets start giving'We must learn how to share our blessing and always lend a helping hand to all people that were in need.

We must make a better place for all of us. We must always think of the sake of others to have a better place for living.....

SURE!! IT DOESN'T EVEN MATTER

Many government high ranking officials want to move the opening of classes on September instead of June.This is just  one of the issues that are  being discussed now.And students were even talking about that.

For me, it doesn't matter what month will the class start as long as the number of days and lessons that must be taken are the same.It can be any month as long as we learn new things and we meet our classmates and teachers.

For me, it can be any month.

Astronomy day!

Astronomy Day!!!! It was a happy and exciting activity. We wore our P.E, uniform the whole day. And we were also a part of the second batch to experience the fun and excitement of the featured activity.

I thought we would just view some pictures and videos about the universe or the solar system but we experienced a different kind of showing the outer space.

We experienced to be inside the space dome and we also viewed the stars using their advanced technologies.We also asked some questions that waited for answers years ago. We also touched and observed the rocks or the meteorites from outer space.

I hope I can experience this again with my friends .

If i would be someone else i would be.....

         I don't want to be a famous personality , a hero neither a celebrity. I just want to be a simple person with a simple personality. Someone who would also study in my school now. And someone that will meet all my friends   and specially her.  

         I would like to be a person who was more confidence. So that i would be confident enough to do the things that i want to do.Not to do it by saying it or by words but by actions because action speaks louder than words.

       I would also like to be hardworking and studious because now, i became lazy in studying.I also want to be someone who can draw and play basketball well.

Drawing and Basketball .... and nothing at all

    Playing basketball and drawing are my interest. They made me happy and it gives me enjoyment.


Kobe Bryant!! Lebron James!! Dwight Howard !! Derrick Rose!! do you know them???
They are NBA superstars they are in playing my game,basketball.I always read news and articles about them. And even their famous signature shoes.

I liked playing basketball since I was in my first year in high school. Its my uncle who introduced and trained me this game. At first, I found it hard but as I practice , I learned how to shoot,dribble, lay up and to rebound.

I always play with my friends. I already joined a basketball team in our place and it is named INSIDERS.This was my second team but its my first team in junior's division. I was the youngest in the whole league but I didn't care I just gave my best so that my team and family would be proud . And fortunately, with our cooperation and firing determination our team won the second place. It was the first time that they had that award. That award increased my interest in basketball.

I also love drawing. Its a skill that I got from my dad. I developed this skill when I entered high school. I drew cartoons.But i still need to improve my skill to make my dad proud of me.

These are just my two interests that i really loved and liked. These things made me happy , inspired and relaxed. I felt relaxed when I'm doing such activities that involves basketball and drawing.

Children's role in building a solid family

         Families are the basic the basic unit of the society. The strength of the country also depends on the strength of the families that it has.We must maintain a strong bond within our family to strengthen our nation.

        As a children,we have many ways to keep a solid and strong family.In our own simple way , we can maintain the bond of our family.

       We must show our love to our parents but not only to our parents but also to the other members of the family.We must be the ones to make way to solve family problems.Family problems that can to lead a broken family.And broken families weakens the country.

        So,we children must be kind , industrious and of course  follow our parents . Following the simple errands of our parents is a simple way  to maintain a solid family.

        We must also prevent or lessen fighting with our brothers or sisters to give our parents less worries and to make them happy.We must also be good and perform well at school so that they will be proud of us.

        We can maintain or build a solid family even if we are just a child.Our simple ways can help lessen and solve the problems our parents have. We must love ,obey and respect our parents to have a solid family...

My Father ,My Best Friend

          We celebrates father's day to acknowledge and to thank the man who supported and helped us in our daily lives. Its none other than our beloved father.They are the reason why we lived in this beautiful world.So we must show our love to our father but not only to them but of course to our mother.

         My father is Walter Castillo Santos , he is a service engineer in Bahrain. He works there to ensure a bright future for us. He won't be around this Sunday but still we will celebrate father's day for my grandfather and Uncles. My dad is a very kind , supportive and understanding. He is also my team mate in basketball last April when he had his vacation.He is also my best friend  . I shared my problems with him and he can give me a good advice that ends the problem.

          Friends and relatives of my father calls me "wally boy" because they said that i looked like my father very much when he was at my age . And even my moves and even a simple smile they will still notice are similarities.

          He is the one who told me the importance of studies . He and my mom served as my inspiration to study harder . I loved him .  He knows what is the best for me because he is my father and my best friend.


         On June 19 2011, lets greet our father a HAPPY FATHER'S DAY.

First week of Classes

          June 6, i woke up early in the morning because its the first day of our class.I took my breakfast then i took a bath.All of my things are new and that encouraged me to study hard .And finally i'm ready to school.

          At school, i arrived  before the first flag ceremony for the school year 2011-2012 starts.We lined up and i'm the first boy in the line.I was surprised by the new set of officers that will lead us.As the new battalion leader shout a command , i  respectfully follow the command.The teachers were the ones  who lead the ceremony. And as i expected, it was a happy ceremony.       

          After the ceremony, I went to our classroom and waited for our adviser.Our adviser came and commanded us to clean our respective places.After cleaning, our class started.Our adviser gave as a short discussion and he went to her next class. Then, the next teachers entered our room and leaved after our class. Finally, the first of of classes ended.I felt happy and proud that i survived the first day .

           The next two days were our tests.It was a rainy day.We took tests in the morning then we had the club organization election at the afternoon of the 1st day. I decided to join the Filipino club and it was my third year in that club. I was voted as the escort of our club but i'm not expecting for any position. And it rained, as a result i was wet .

            I was not able to attend the fourth day of classes because had a fever . I was not able to send an excuse letter  because no vehicles can pass through the streets.

            Yes! I was able to go to school on the fifth day.I felt comfortable of wearing our new scouting uniform. For me, this uniform was better than the previous one.Its a regular day with a regular class.

             Finally, the class ended and the officers shouted "EVERYBODY FALL IN!!". I ran and placed my things outside the room. As the flag goes down, I feel i'm  grateful to be a part of our school. And our platoon leader dismissed us.YES!! this is not the end but it is just the start of a new and challenging year.!!!
